Dream Big! And that is what we did.
After a period of looking for the right property for our vacation rental dream home, we were fortunate enough to be introduced to the Gewalt family.
Angelika and Rainer of Germany, had recently inherited the property and were wondering how they were going to maintain and still be able to visit the property when they wanted a couple of times per year. Enter the vacation rental idea..and the Braun's. With our plans of purchasing the right property on hold we begin to dream our dream another way.
It took no time at all for the collective to agree, this was a perfect match. And then the work began, restoring the farmhouse to it's glory days splendor.

A great team, divided only by the space between the two countries: Angelika and Rainer Gewalt (owners), and Angela
(manager) and Johannes Braun share a similar passion for the rural property in the "County".
Both with the idea to continue sharing the Darsser Hill Farm house, with it's history of hospitality to guests from near and far.
As your hostess, (Angela) I am available to help plan, and execute any special occasion or getaway ideas.
As your hospitality specialist, wine lover, foodie, fitness friend with a passion for connecting people to like minded people socially and professionally, I will endeavor to make your time at the farm memorable and strive to reach beyond your expectations.

Cold Creek Landhaus was a perfect spot for our large group to stay. Angela was very flexible with us as our plans kept changing. Her property is well stocked with everything we needed - from pots and pans to seating for 13 people to duvets, pillows, and towels. The property is just a short drive from many of PEC's busiest wineries, but yet it feels very remote and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this property!
Cold Creek Landhaus was the perfect place to hold our company's retreat. The house is centrally located in The County (close to Norman Hardie, Rosehall Run, and Casa Dea, and a quick drive to Wellington). The house is huge, with lots of space to sleep, and it has a huge patio and backyard (with firepit) that's perfect for larger groups. The decor was unique (German influences) and the bathrooms and other amenities were in great shape. We especially loved the goodie bags Angela left for us - such a thoughtful touch. We'll be back to stay here again, and would recommend to any large groups who are looking for the perfect place to stay in The County!

Our company was lucky to have stayed at Cold Creek Landhaus for our annual retreat this summer. It was the perfect size for a group of 13, with tons of room and comfortable sleeping arrangements. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space - the house has a huge patio with a fire pit and ample green space to hang out, picnic or tan if you're there in the summer months. To our surprise, the best part was the adult loot bag Angela left everyone on our team. What a nice touch!
